On October 6, Shinmeizan held its 16^th biennial meeting of prayer for peace, inviting its closest partners in interreligious dialogue. The representatives of 9 different religious traditions gathered in our hondo (Prayer Hall) offering in turn prayers and invocations for peace in our world lacerated by so many conflicts and wars. Afterwards, all the about thirty participants gathered together in the dining hall for a friendly cup of tea.

On October 13, a group of seven people, led by Haidee Taniguchi, a friend of Shinmeizan since many years, and linked by a common interest about Peru’, where some of them were born, came to Shinmeizan for a day of prayer and friendly exchange. Thanks to them we were also made to feel closer to this Country, its history, culture, and today’s situation.
