During this month of November, the maple trees` red colored foliage of Shinmeizan has welcomed various guests. Among them, we wish to remember in a special way, 

 besides the participants in the monthly retreat held on November 9, 

On November 12, Sr. Elena Cermeno, Foundress and Leader of the Santo Nino de Malagaya Center of Spirituality and Christian Life, with a group of thirteen friends from the Philippines!

 On November 12-14, Ms. Ikegami, the mother of Ven. Riken Ikegami, Head of the Butsuganji of Wakayama (Pure Land Buddhism);

 On November 16, Mr. And Ms. Rosario and Sachimi Manisera, from Italy (Mr. Manisera is President of the Italy-Japan Cultural Exchanges Association).

On Nov. 21, Prof. Bernardo Villasanz, of Fukuoka University, with his wife.  

On November 22-24, the group led by the Tourism and Pilgrimage Agency “Paradise” of Yokohama, for a three days retreat.

 On November 25, Mr. Harada Masayuki, and Ms. Uchida Michi, who have chosen Shinmeizan for the celebration of their marriage!

Among the main activities in the field of interreligious dialog carried out this month, we wish to mention:

Our cooperation with Mr. Izuno , in the preparation and production of the theatrical commemoration of the 15 martyrs of the Ogasawara family (Kumamoto, 1636), held at the Prefectural Theatre of Kumamoto on November 2, with the participation of more than 600 people.

Our participation in the thanksgiving celebration at the end of the rice harvest, held at the Shinto Temple of Heboura, our village, on November 5.

The participation of Sr. Maria De Giorgi in the 7th Buddhist-Christian International Colloquium organized by the Vatican Dicastery for Interreligious Dialog, held in Bangkok (Thailand) on November 13-16.
