In this late autumn, Shinmeizan was clothed in the typical colours of the season. These have been enjoyed by both the resident community and the guests who have been here on various occasions. In November, there were numerous episodes to note down in this month diary.

On October 2, Shinmeizan held its 15^th biennial `Interreligious meeting of prayer for world peace`, to which the representatives of various religions took part: Shinto, Omoto, Buddhism (Tendai, Nichiren,  Pure land), Tenrikyo, Risshokoseikai, all of them longtime partners of interreligious dialog and friendship with Shinmeizan.

From September 7 to 11, Sr. Maria has been requested to accompany a delegation from the diocese and the city of Lucca (Italy), headed by Archbishop Paul Giulietti, journeying to Japan to take part in the 400^th anniversary of the martyrdom of the 55 martyrs of Nagasaki beatified by Bl. Pope Pius IX in 1867, one of whom, the Bl. Angelo Orsucci O.P., was born in Lucca.
