Shinmeizan continues its activity as a `House of Prayer` and as a “Center for Interreligious Dialog”.
Among the guests we welcomed this month, besides the ten participants in the monthly retreat of Sept. 9th, we wish to mention in a special way the visit of Mr. Yoichi Fukuda, of the new religious group Byakkoshinkokai, who came on Sept. 3, to spend a day with us to concentrate on his study of Saint Maximilian Kolbe;
the two Sisters Adoratrices who came for a week long retreat (Sept. 11-19); and Olimpia Niglio, Professor of comparative architecture at the Hosei University of Tokyo (Sept. 21-28).
Among the activities of interreligious dialog, we were particularly involved with a conference on interreligious dialog held via internet (`zoom`) by Fr. Franco and Sr. Maria on September 30th for the Association of Missionary Institutes `ad gentes` (=ANIMAG) of Portugal.
