On February 7, Ven. Hara Onin of the Choen Temple of Kumamoto (Nichiren Buddhism) came again to Shinmeizan for the 6^th study meeting on the teaching of the Lotus Sutra and Christianity, carried out via ZOOM with Ven. Shaku Choei, Head of the Hoko Temple (Ogaki, Gifu Pref.) The study subject, this time, was the role of faith in the disciples of Christ and of the Buddha.

On Feb. 10, Shinmeizan held the usual monthly retreat (the 263^rd  since the beginning). Three of the 13 participants belonged to non-Christian religious traditions.

Among the guests who visited Shinmeizan this month, we wish to mention Takeshi Imamura who came with his wife Maki and his three children, on Feb. 28, to celebrate here his birthday.  Takeshi Imamura, as a young student, lived seven years at Shinmeizan, and celebrated here his marriage.
