Also this year, Shinmeizan took part in the yearly event organized by the Seimeizan Schweitzer Temple of Tamana to remember the unjust execution of Nishi Takeo and to continue the struggle against the death penalty.  The event was held on June 21 and 27 and, because of the persisting danger of the corona virus, it was held via internet with “ZOOM”!  

On July 3-4 Shinmeizan had the honor and the pleasure to welcome the new Bishop of Fukuoka, Josep M. Abella.
