Among the visitors who came to Shinmeizan during this last month of October, We wish to mention in a special way The group of eight volunteers from the Churches of Tetori and Musashigaoka that came, on October 11, to help us repair and clean the road leading up to Shinmeizan;

Among the guests who visited Shinmeizan during the month of September, we wish to recall especially:
Rev. Bro. Joseph Oh, OSB, from Korea, monk of Saint John`s Abbey (USA) who visited us on Sept. 12-13. Rev. Fr. Albert Marfil, OFM, from the Philippines, now stationed in Nagasaki, who visited us on Sept. 13-14. Ms. Reiko Aoki, a generous cooperator of the Xaverians at the Regional House of Izumi Sano (Osaka) who stayed with us from Sept. 10 to Sept. 14.

From August 1st to August 3, also this year Shinmeizan held a 3days`study session　for Students of the Kitakyushu University of Industrial Medicine on the meaning and value of human life from the religious point of view. It was the 21^st time this course was held, since it started in 2001,　following the request of Prof. Fujino, as a part of his lectures of “General Introduction to the medical sciences” at the same University.
